The UCL Access and Widening Participation Office is delighted to welcome Ross Morrison McGill to deliver this interactive CPD event for teachers focused on coaching in the classroom. Ross is an award-winning blogger, author and teacher with over 20 years classroom and school leadership experience, and he is also the most followed educator on Twitter in the UK.
The Teacher Takeaway will explore effective coaching strategies for teachers of all subjects and phases, and is suitable for teachers at every stage of their career. The session will:
- Explore the psychology of coaching
- Offer practical coaching techniques
- Consider ways to structure feedback into daily conversations with students, parents and colleagues
The focus of the session will be on offering advice and resources for teachers to 'takeaway' and use in their own school setting.
