Overview

This strand provides teachers and advisers with information about the pathways available to students at age 16. It focuses on those students who might be interested in progressing into higher education in the future, especailly at Russell Group universities.

It includes information on the qualifications that facilitate progression to selective universities and courses, and the factors students should consider when making their choices for post-16 study.

The strand currently includes a guidebook, a presentation, two quick reference sheets, a teacher reflection sheet, resources for learners and several case study videos.
