Event description
Wadham runs five-day residential summer schools each August for Year 12 pupils in UK state schools or sixth-form colleges. These Summer Schools are designed to give UK pupils studying in Year 12 a taste of what it’s like to be an undergraduate studying at the University of Oxford. Pupils will take part in an academic programme, live in College, meet student ambassadors studying at Oxford, and receive information, advice and guidance on applying to university.
There are three Summer Schools available:
- Classics Summer School: "Gender and Sexuality in the Ancient World"
- Modern Languages Summer School: French, German or Spanish
- Biology & Human Science Summer School: Climate Change
The Summer Schools are free. Accommodation and meals are provided by the College. We will provide financial support to pupils to cover their travel costs.
Applications for the 2024 Summer Schools open on 19 February and will close at 5pm on 3 May 2024.
